History of CoolSchoolTools.com
CoolSchoolTools.com was founded in 2003 by Tim and Beth Fahlberg, (math and nursing educators) to equip teachers and students with the tools & training they need to significantly improve their teaching and learning.
A combination of 18 years of teaching math & nursing, eight years of pioneering whiteboard movies, and two years of working with educators and students at all levels have led us to represent eInstruction with its powerful Classroom Performance System (CPS).
We also strongly recommend & give training for the ExamView test & assessment suite of tools (by FSCreations), Whiteboard Movie creation and production featuring Camtasia Studio (by TechSmith), and wireless graphics tablets (by SMART Technologies).
History of Whiteboard Movies: In 1997 I (Tim Fahlberg) had the idea to create and deliver multimedia tutorials using the Internet (still relatively new in those days) to support student learning of mathematics outside of the classroom. My wife Beth encouraged me to apply for a grant because she believed in me and my ideas.
